if i try to add a second set while the first set is still downloading, it stalls on all downloads.
and if i close a firefox window that it is leeching the set of, it stalls.
is that normal?

Adding more links to download doesn't stall IHG in my experience.

Are you closing the entire Firefox window or just closing one of multiple tabs?  Just closing one tab shouldn't be an issue.  Shutting down Firefox will stop IHG.

if i close the window that i originally found the source files in, it stops now, i think thats the only time now.
thats normal?  even if i have other firefox windows open at the same time?

If you have multiple instances of Firefox running (i.e. multiple windows rather than multiple tabs within one window) then I wouldn't be surprised if closing an instance would also stop any IHG sessions you started from it.  Remember that IHG is an add-on to Firefox, not an independent program.  Cybermatt would know for certain I'm sure but I would suspect that IHG gets its internet link thru Firefox.  So if you stop Firefox, IHG loses its connection to download the files.

IHG "should" run independent of the browser window.  It runs on the Gecko engine... as do most addons for Firefox.  IHG (in theory) should only require the original window to be open when you first run IHG so you can build the download list.  After that, it "should" be independent.  Once you close all firefox windows (including IHG), then the firefox process is killed in your process manager.  Anyone ever notice how firefox still runs in the background if you leave the download dialog box open?

Anyway, the point is that this must be a bug.  Not a major bug in my opinion, but a bug none the less.
